Editorial approach

Useful, clear
and open about sources

A guide should help you ask better questions and make a more informed choice.

Show where a claim comes from

We link to the original source where practical: public property records, the relevant authority, an architect or the original project brochure. We distinguish a completed sale from an asking price and a brochure drawing from the plan of a specific apartment.

Make comparisons fairer

Our property comparisons keep apartments, villas, hotel apartments, land and other property types separate. Ready properties and off-plan sales can be selected independently. We show bedroom count, area and the number of sales where those details help explain a price. Unusually priced transactions stay visible in the sales list and are left out of summary comparisons.

A small number of sales is identified instead of being presented as a reliable guide to every home. We do not fill a missing rent, service charge or floor-plan area with a guessed figure.

Keep advertising identifiable

Paid placements are labelled as advertising or sponsorship. Payment does not change the recorded prices or buy a higher place in a comparison. Contributors must disclose relevant commercial interests.

Correct errors

Send the page, the detail in question and a reliable supporting source to info@mada-residences.ae. We review corrections and update the affected material when a change is supported.

Contribute something useful

We welcome original, practical stories with specific experience and checkable information. See Write for us for the pitch process, or explore the journal for recent examples.
